I love the little kids in the dirty harry video by the gorillaz.. that whole video is great, outside of the re-uses, which gorillaz always do. here's some early sketches, and my favorite screen grabs (some nice color and lighting). i have no creds for this.. i don't think any of it was drawn by jamie hewlett, doesn't really even look like his style. enjoy brothas..
Yeah, that harsh desert lighting made for some great shots in this; it's also that perfectly simple kind of concept too - out in the wide expanse of the desert with no distractions...just some great drawn animation and big fat trucks! =D

Passion Pictures has been handling most of the design and animation for the Gorrilaz videos. I get the sense from interviews that Jamie Hewlett isn't really doing much anymore. Check out Pete Candeland, I think he's operating out of Passions satellite in New York.
